Make & Talk – come and join in

It’s been a while since we updated you on the progress of developing the East Shoreditch Neighbourhood Plan – but we’ve not been idle. we have received official designation from Tower Hamlets, and are moving ahead to the next phase.

It widens the process out through community engagement.  Come and help us make and plan in our ‘Make and Do’ event.

We are running it on two days.  Come for the whole day or even for a few hours.

Friday 1 August 11.00 – 17.00 at Rich Mix (mezzanine level)

Sunday 10 August 11.00 – 17.00 at The Hut, Gascoigne Estate, Gascoigne Place

The Hut,

The Hut, Gascoigne Estate

We’ll be preparing some of the ‘tools’ we’re going to need in order to collect people’s thoughts on what should go into the Plan. And we’ll also be getting out on the road to start using our ‘tools’.

You don’t have to know about neighbourhood planning or be particularly adept at stitching, cutting and painting. We’ll be working on the website and social media too and there will be a number of activities to chose from.

It’s a chance to find out more about this important initiative, to get together with others from the area and to compare notes about what needs to change.

Meanwhile, you can follow our progress here and on:
